I have installed linux (Ubuntu 6.10 “Edgy Eft”) on a Dell Precision M70 laptop, and the posts in this blog refer to that machine.

• CPU: Intel Pentium M 2.00GHz
• Hard drive: 60GB …partitioned into 3 parts (one NTFS partition holding WinXP, one FAT32 partition for my files and documents, one ext3 partition for linux, the latteralso includes a swap partition, obviously)
• RAM: 1GB
• Wired network adapter: Broadcom NetXtreme BCM5751 Gigabit
• Wireless network adapter: Intel PRO/Wireless 2200BG
• Graphics card: nVidia Corporation NV41 Quadro FX Go1400 – 256MB RAM
• 15.4″ WSXGA+ Screen (1680×1050 pixels)
